When Jesus entered and passed through Jericho, behold there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief among the worldly people, and he was rich.  He sought to see Jesus, to see who He was, but he could not see because of the crowd, because he was small in stature.  So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Jesus, for He was to pass that way. When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him and said to him:  Zacchaeus, come down quickly.  For today I must stay at your house.  So he came down quickly and received Jesus joyfully.  When they saw this everyone complained saying: He has gone to stay with a man who is a sinner.

Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord: Behold Lord, half of my goods I am giving to the poor, and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I will restore them fourfold.  Jesus said to him: This day salvation has come to this house, since Zacchaeus also is a son of Abraham.  For the Son of man has come to seek and to save those who were lost.  Luke 19:1-10   AV7.org
