God is ready, willing, and able to forgive you, cleanse you, and give you a fresh start.
Too easily we can often hurt others by just playing around. A moment of carelessness, a wrong action, foolish decision, rash word, or yielding to temptation can inflict serious and long-lasting damage. The effects of such foolishness can be irreversible, painful, and deep. Yet God can restore any heart, forgive any sin, and turn all things for good. cf. Romans 8:28-29. If it ever comes into your mind that you have hurt someone in the past through a foolishness mistake; or, if your heart is heavy with the weight of past failures, confess your sin, and God can and will give you total forgiveness and a new start.
