Redemption   ~   Christianity is dramatically different than all other religions for many reasons . . . but most significantly because of the central theme of the Word of God which is love -- more specifically the love that God demonstrated to offer redemption to you and to all of mankind.   No other love -- love of a spouse, a child, or a friend -- can compare to God's love.  Many avoid talking about the blood that Yeshua/Jesus shed on the cross, thinking that it might be offensive.   However, the truth is that Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross and the blood that He shed for us is the ultimate demonstration that "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down one's own life for one's friends." John 15:13.   This is beyond human understanding, yet Jesus' shed blood on the cross is incomparable proof of how deeply God loves us.  cf. Galatians 2:20   and   Romans 5:8-11.  And nothing similar or even remotely comparable to this is found in any other religion.
