Those who are genuinely committed to following Jesus live by the creed, "I'd rather burn out than rust out." There is no biblical basis for the man-made notion of retirement. Some would rather take their last breath with their hands on the plow and their boots on the ground rather than looking for a "free ride" living off of so-called "entitlements" that have not been earned by industry and hard work.
